The Elevator Pitch: Why will you enjoy this new opportunity?Reporting to the Director of Products, SASE; we’re looking for a product manager who can manage the development and implementation of our SD-WAN product line along with our hardware product strategy – from initial design, architecture through detailed design and the final drive to mass and sustaining production. You will use your knowledge in networking technologies including SD-WAN to evolve our hardware and software roadmap. This position will partner closely with various cross-functional teams including the rest of the Product Management team, platform software engineering, operations, marketing and our sales organization.The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis? Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our SD-WAN product lineWork closely with engineering teams to prioritize features and ensure timely delivery of product releasesDrive hardware product definition for a range of advanced edge appliances supporting our SD-WAN/SASE and Edge Compute Stack applications Establish a roadmap and long-term strategy across our product portfolio Work with other product management leaders to understand the broader business and customer needs, and enable optimized solutions for secure access service edge devices Advocate hardware/software requirements with hardware development teams Develop architecture, author system PRDs, and lead RFQs for edge portfolio. Build and track product schedule through NPI, coordinating with manufacturing operations, sourcing, packaging, certification, and quality teams. Provide technical mentorship as needed. Work with product management counterparts, engineering, Business operations, manufacturing operations and marketing to coordinate launch plans. Lead with EPIC2 values, develop a high-performing, highly collaborative teamSuccess Factors Bachelor’s degree and/or MS in Computer Science, EE or a related field.4+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the networking or telecommunications industryExperience with SD-WAN, network security, and cloud technologiesTrack record of working with networking hardware technologies servers, routers, switches etc. Knack for gleaning customer insights from field inspection, interviews, research and data analytics Excellent business acumen to navigate tradeoffs in features, cost, development risk and performance Excellent communication skills. Must be comfortable presenting to customers and internal audiences at all levels Ready to execute and obsessive about delivering results, winning and over-achievingWhat is the leadership like for this role? The actual offer will be based on the role, location, and individual candidate experience. Bonus, commission, and/or equity may be eligible for this position.
