Strategy and Planning Director, Hybrid Systems & PeripheralsDescription -Strategy & Planning Director, Hybrid Systems & Peripherals Supply ChainJob DescriptionHP is seeking a Strategy & Planning Director for the Hybrid Systems & Peripherals Supply Chain team.  In this role, you will work side by side with the leadership team to drive an effective operating cadence across the organization including strategic alignment and direction of the business. Additionally, the Strategy & Planning Director will lead both ad hoc and strategic projects on an as-needed basis – anything that is needed to keep the organization running smoothly and to ensure the team is working towards the same objectives/outcomes. Specifically we are looking for a strong leader that can manage/direct while proactively building program management and executional capability in others. Within the Supply Chain Organization, the Strategy & Planning Director reports to the Global Head of Hybrid Systems & Peripherals Supply Chain and is responsible for the planning and coordination of all supply chain strategy, programs and activities globally. The position organizes and prioritizes critical issues and required information for the organization to facilitate efficient decision making.Responsibilities:Supports the Supply Chain leader with building and developing high-impact, cross-functional mechanisms (KPI/instrumentation, forums/reviews and communications)  to ensure the effective management of the supply chain functions globally while optimizing business results.Manages internal communications and engagement for the Supply Chain. Ensures messages are clearly delivered globally to a diverse audience.Develops and drives strategic programs, supply chain SCOR models and market strategies for breakthrough improvement.Builds financially sound, executable, data-driven strategies and project plans that improve shareholder value.Helps manages OPEX budget, ensuring proper planning and forecast; identifies and drives efficiencies.Participates at Supply Chain level on Strategic Planning and priorities for Operations at HP.Advise business leaders, recommends approaches for executing high-level strategies and develops creative solutions that improve profitability.Applies financial rigor and acumen to all initiatives that lead executive and business teams to shareholder value-based decisions.Provides strategic advice to regional / corporate function departmental executive management regarding overall targeted growth, operation efficiency, and capital strategy initiatives.Influences C-level executives on a wide range of business issues, including risk management and implementation tactics.Provides innovative thought leadership and shapes the knowledge base within area of expertise.Develops and executes the cadence of strategic meetings and review processes to manage the business and ensure delivery of company objectives.Oversee the agenda and process for management meetings while creating an inclusive environment. Master’s degree preferred.12+ years of strategic project management in supply chain operations; preferably in the high-tech electronics industrySignificant experience in leading supply chain best practices such as planning, procurement, manufacturing, quality, delivery etc.  Knowledge of SCOR model is required.Ability to thrive within a global team – diverse cultures, multiple time zones and broad scope.Excels in a hybrid environment, both in person and remotely.Ability to take a Helicopter view — understands where things fit into the bigger picture, while managing attention to detail to distill key drivers and affect outcomes.Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal) with a globally diverse audience.Demonstrates strong business acumen coupled with deep analytical capability.Effective project management skills – ability to organize and structure work effectively and ensure other deliver on their commitmentsCredibility and confidence to deliver strong guidance and messaging to both peers and leaders across the globeStrong partnership/relationship orientation – with all layers in the organizationMS Office 365 proficiency with strong skill sets in Excel, Powerpoint, with Power BI a plus.Supply Chain Success Indicators (see attached file)Job -Supply Chain & OperationsSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (United States of America)Travel -Relocation -EEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
