Global Senior Ecommerce LeadDescription -Unique mastery and recognized authority on relevant subject matter knowledge including technologies, theories, and techniques. We are looking for a Senior E-commerce Consultant to join our Analytics & Data Science Team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in e-commerce analytics, with a focus on using data to drive business decisions. As a Senior E-commerce Consultant, you will work closely with the team to provide expert guidance on e-commerce analytics, develop and implement data-driven solutions, and communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize e-commerce analytics needsDevelop and implement data-driven solutions to improve e-commerce performance, including website traffic, conversion rates, and customer engagementInterpret complex datasets to tell stories and develop an organized set of conclusions and recommendations that can be easily digested by a broad audienceUtilize Python, Tableau, Power BI, SQL server, and relational databases to extract, transform, and analyze large datasetsInterpret complex data and communicate insights to stakeholders using PowerPoint skills and strong story-telling abilitiesWork with the Analytics Team to develop best practices and standards for e-commerce analytics and data visualizationBuild strong partnerships with cross-functional teams to understand trends and opportunities for improvement, address customer needs and product pain-pointsIntellectual curiosity for digging into the underlying story to be told with dataTrain and mentor junior members of the Analytics TeamAbility to operate in a matrixed team environment with shifting deadlines and deliverable datesServe as an industry expert by developing and creating industry points of viewGather requirements, complete scoping, and build analysis across multiple areas of E-commerce to support the Ecommerce Analytics team goalsHelp drive data accuracy/integrity is constantly maintained via weekly data acquisition, processing, cleansing, and auditingSupports monthly and quarterly business reviewsDevelop and run analyses, experiments, reports, and more to better understand and improve sales, profitability, and process efficiency for internal customers Self-starter with a high degree of motivation to learn and go above and beyondKnowledge & SkillsExtensive experience with data engineering tools, languages, and frameworks to mine, cleanse and explore data.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Fluent in NoSQL & relational-based systems.Strong experience in the overall architecture of big data systems, and cloud services/systems.Extensive experience designing data systems/solutions to manage complex data in complex, distributed, and massively parallel systems.Evaluating and selecting forms and processes for database architecture testing and methodology, including writing and/or supervision of the execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery of English and local language.Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at senior management levels, BU, and executive levels.Scope & ImpactCollaborates with peers, junior engineers, data scientists, project team(s), and senior staff.Typically interacts with high-level Individual Contributors, Managers, Directors, Execs, and Program Core Teams.Leads multiple and complex projects requiring data engineering solutions development.Drives design innovation.Key Requirements:10+ years of experience in e-commerce analytics or retailStrong technical skills in Python, Tableau, Power BI, SQL server, and relational databasesProficiency with cloud database platforms such as Snowflake, AWS Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex data insights to technical and non-technical stakeholdersExpertise in data visualization using PowerPoint or similar toolsStrong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex business problemsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentExperience with A/B testing and experimentation is a plusEducation & Previous analytics experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent.10+ years' experience in E-commerce AnalyticsWillingness to bridge the gap between business and technical stakeholders and use data to back up recommendations and decision-makingComfortability in communicating insights and findings to senior leadershipExperience using Google's/Adobe measurement suite products, website analytics platforms, and brand analysis techniques.Track record of taking data from disparate sources and creating centralized reporting schemas and tables that can be used to power analyses and data visualizationsPreferred experience with data modeling tools such as Power BI, TableauFamiliarity with market research and syndicated data providers (IRI, Nielsen, NPD) is a plus#LIPostJob -SoftwareSchedule -Full timeShift -First Shift (India)Travel -Relocation -EEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
