Our unique in-house developed technology, Pulse Controlled Amplification (PCA), has received awards for its innovative potential in the past. PCA technology, a further development of the PCR method, enables ultra-rapid and at the same time highly sensitive molecular tests in a wide range of applications, such as the detection of multi-resistant germs in hospitals and in many other areas where rapid and reliable DNA analysis is particularly important.We are looking for a Senior Assay Developer (f/m/d) to join our team in Martinsried.Your role & responsibilities:Planning, coordination, management of nucleic acid multiplex assay development for Point-of-Care product developmentLeading a small laboratory team of scientists and techniciansCompliant product development according to respective SOPs and standards as ISO13485 and othersMultiplex assay design for an innovative PCR based technologyDesign and evaluation of experiments with the aim of final assay design/assay freezeDevelopment of multiple nucleic acid multiplex assaysVerification and validation of nucleic acid multiplex assaysDocumentation of results following good documentation practicesClose cooperation within assay development team and with POCT development teams for cartridge and instrument developmentRegular discussion of results with peers and manager, preparation of reportsInternal and external presentationsLiterature and patent researchWhat do we expect?At least master’s degree in biology, biochemistry, or related technical discipline, plus at least 5 years of work experienceMinimum of 3 years of experience in the development of nucleic acid multiplex assays in an industrial environmentMinimum of 3 years of experience in an IVD companyMinimum of 3 years of experience in leading a small laboratory teamIdeally has at least developed one multiplex assays, which has been launchedIdeally experience and track record in assay development for integrated point-of-care systemsExperience working on regulated product developments (ideally IVDD 98/79/EG and/or FDA 510k) und QMS according to ISO 13485 or similarExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare and deliver compelling presentations and work on analyses at varying levels of granularityTechnical proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint etc.Fluent in English, proficiency in both written and verbalStrong analytical skillsYou are convinced to be a perfect match?
