Software Development Engineer in Test - Software QualityDescription -Design and Development of the tools and elements that help guarantee the Quality for Large Format Printers projects, in both the Quality Assurance (prevention) and Quality Control (testing) areas. Projects will vary from the qualification of the firmware that control the printers to software solutions, web services and others.  Candidates will require a good knowledge of programming and a good balance from project management abilities and soft (personal, social) skills, since they will need to interact frequently with development teams, management, other teams such as Quality Engineers, as well as manage their own test team.Main tasksParticipate in the design of the code components with quality and testing in mind.Participate in documentation and code reviewsCreate and develop tools for testing and quality assurance.Ensure SWQA deliverables to program are on time and with the expected quality levelPlan and write automated test cases for the systems under test.Help developers on the definition of their tests.Review test results and make sure results are addressed timelyParticipate in development agile groups to guarantee the quality in the EPICs Opportunistic tasksParticipate in the quality strategy definition for the products under test.Participate in customer-related activity to keep customer-centric vision and prioritiesProvide assessment to the rest of the organization about Quality processesAct as a liaison between Development and Quality Engineers.Required education, overall experience & skillsComputer Science, Telecommunication Engineering, or similar degree.Programming skills (C++, C#, Python, XML, Linux...)Quality mind setPassion for a task well done.Passion for improving code quality through interaction with development and QualityGood soft/social skillsAdvanced or Proficiency level of English (no official certification required)Understanding of Computer ArchitectureDesiredKnowledge of testing and integration frameworks (GoogleTest, nUnit, Jenkins,…)Organized, methodical and proactiveAgile processes (Scrum, Kanban…)What we offer:Opportunity to work in an international organization with colleagues coming from all over the world.Diverse, continued internal growth and career opportunities.
