Brand Design LeadDescription -The Visual Identity and Brand Design Lead will oversee all aspects of HP’s brand visual identity, including brand guidelines, design direction, and content production. You’ll define clear, ongoing visual identity guidelines and lead education and best practices sharing for all internal and external stakeholders, helping guide teams in developing and maintaining a consistent HP brand experience.This highly creative, organized, and hands-on design lead will have experience with visual identity and design on a corporate setting, preferably with multiple businesses, targeting different audiences. This candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced startup and shifting between production and strategic tasks. You know how to navigate a corporate culture, confidently communicate why design decisions are made, but still have the willingness to adapt to other perspectives.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESBring the HP brand positioning alive through the newly created brand visual identity and design. Partner with other members of the brand team to help define the creative strategy and visual manifestation of HP’s brand positioning.Create, update, and publish Brand Identity GuidelinesMentor and collaborate with pan-HP design and creative community (Digital Marketing, Front End Developers, UI/UX, E-commerce, Campaign Managers, External Agencies, and others) to ensure design consistency, brand relevance and usability across the entire customer journey.Own and continuously evolve our visual identity and provide guidance to others across the company and to agency partners on the proper application.Partner with in-house creative teams to create resources to meet common needs of the market with flexibility for country customization, enabling country-first model.Facilitate communication and strategic alignment of brand visual identity across businesses, marketing disciplines, sectors, and stakeholder groups. Be an advocate for design; educating and enabling others to create on-brand experiences.Conduct competitive and out of category benchmarking, analysis, and monitoring.Serve as an internal brand design expert to make recommendations and steer strategic creative design decisionsREQUIREMENTSBA degree in graphic design or a related field.7+ years of experience in graphic design, branding, and UX/UIExperience as a brand specialist, lead designer, graphic artist, or related position required.Knowledge of branding guidelines and maintenance required.Ability to write and communicate brand guidance in support of brand guidelines required.Experience with direct responsibility for brand development and management preferred.Portfolio demonstrating strength in graphic design and brand development preferredProficient in Adobe Creative Suite and FigmaHP offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:•  Dental insurance•  Disability insurance•  Employee assistance program•  Flexible schedule•  Flexible spending account•  Health insurance•  Life insurance  Per the California statute, the estimated range of compensation for this job in that location, at the time of this posting, is 109,650 - 168,850 annual.  This position may be eligible for incentive pay, for openings where this is applicable.#LI-Job -MarketingSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (United States of America)Travel -25%Relocation -EEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
