NVIDIA is now looking for an HPC/AI Solutions Architect for our Public Sector NALA SA team. The candidate will know AI and HPC datacenter technology solutions and is keen to work with some of the top customers and partners in North America. This SA will support customers as the technical lead, working with a small teams specific to a variety of programs that will design, deploy and tune HPC and AI solutions using our hardware and software products.The SA will work with partners to respond to RFPs from customers in joint responses including taking a lead role for ensuring we have all needed materials including benchmarks for our portion of the response. Customers will include federal accounts including the US Department of Energy, the US Department of Defense, NOAA and NASA. The SA should have a well-rounded technical background and show good overall understanding of system level issues and be very familiar with GPU’s, CPU’s, high speed networking technologies and associated software stacks as they pertain to HPC and AI deployments.What you'll be doing:Work with our Account Managers to support our customers and our partners in the field to ensure that NVIDIA products are successfully delivered and supported for HPC and AI Proof of Concept, Pilot and full-scale deployment projectsDevelop teams to ensure design wins, customer engagement and overall account technical successWork with the Business Unit product management and engineering teams to ensure that we deliver the best possible solutions for leading NALA HPC and AI initiativesParticipate in Supercomputing and NVIDIA GTC conferences including presentations, technical sessions, and trainingParticipating in the project life cycle including definition, design, quoting, software installation, performance tuning and benchmarking.Collaborating closely with our engineering and support teams on issue resolution.Participating in pre-sales activities.What we need to see:6+ years experience as a sales engineer/solution architectCandidates must have a minimum of a four-year degree from an accredited university or college in Computer Science, or Electrical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience).Independent. Self motivated. Dedicated.Knowledge of HPC and AI solution technologies from CPU’s and GPU’s to high speed interconnects and supporting softwareExcellent communication and presentation/oral skills.Knowledge of HPC and/or AI/ML applications from installation to tuning is a plusClearable to the “Top Secret” Level (Existing Clearance an advantage).Travel required up to 20%.Ways to stand out from the crowd:Knowledge in InfiniBand networking spec and protocol stack.Knowledge in storage protocols (block, file, FC).Knowledge of CPU and/or GPU architectureOverall knowledge of how GPU’s can be leveraged into HPC and AI/ML solutionsExcellent communications skillsWith highly competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package, NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers!
