We are looking for a Senior Buyer for our Materials and Procurement organization who has direct experience in purchasing electrical and mechanical components. Your responsibilities will include processing requisitions, purchase orders and non-revenue sales orders to support operations and other cross functional teams. You will work with suppliers and our CM partners to facilitate our materials buy/sell site-balancing process in an extremely fast-paced environment. Must be detail-oriented and familiar with the purchasing and finance rules. What you'll be doing: Process different types of Purchase Orders per demand and requisitions. Obtain confirmation of delivery dates on full and partial shipments and inform requestors of potential delays. Track orders from placement through delivery and update PO status in the system. Maintain an accurate open order status and timely closure to keep orders updated in the system. Manages quotes and material transfers through our buy/sell process from NV and/or across multiple CM partners. Create non-revenue Sales Orders and delivery notes for our buy/sell process. Tracking all open sales orders and timely updates of items with discrepancies. Work with Inventory control team to close discrepancies relating to material receiving and/or RMA processing. Drive resolutions billing/accounts payable and other finance issues. Assist in material transfer requests for consigned materials from our CMs to NV and/or other NV sites. Support ad hoc requests to source materials needed by internal teams. Manage our third-party distribution partner to ensure timely materials transfers and inventory audits. What we need to see: Related experience in Purchasing Department and sourcing of electrical/mechanical components. Knowledge of Purchasing procedures and computer-based inventory systems. Familiar with different types of purchase orders (i.e., inventory, expense, service, place-holder PO’s). High level knowledge of computer tools including and not limited to Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Availability to work with various departments as well as vendor representatives. Attention to detail to ensure orders placed matches with specifications being requested. Understands and practices of high-level supply chain management. Experience working with contract manufacturers both local and overseas and working in OEM/CEM; knowledge of PCBA electronics components. Experienced using SAP ERP system; PDP/Agile preferred. Bachelor's degree in operations, IE, supply chain or Business preferred (or equivalent experience). 5+ years most recent experience as buyer or supply chain manufacturing or inventory control. Familiar with BOM structures and changes.
