Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer in Test to join our Quality Engineering team. This is an amazing opportunity to work on Automation and Performance engineering of various Clarivate products. We have a great skill set in Test Automation using Selenium with Java, Performance Engineering using Jmeter, API Testing, Security Testing, Devops, BrowserStack, Cypress, Docker, AWS/Azure, PACT and many other latest technologies. About You (Desired Requirement)Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.2+ years of experience in software automation and test frameworksExperience in Selenium binding with JavaExperience in version control system Git or bitbucket.Understanding of test automation frameworks & assisting/reviewing script creation Good programming skills in various language like Java, Python or .NetFamiliarity of testing pyramid, understanding of functional and non-functional aspects of testingFamiliarity and clear understanding of Agile & Kanban development approachesFamiliarity of working with test and defect management tools like JIRA, confluence, Bugzilla, Quality CenterIt would be great if you also have…Understanding of open-source tools would be an advantageGood working experience with GIT.Work experience on Performance testing using JMeter.Understanding on any one of these: Jenkins, TeamCity and Azure DevOpsFamiliarity with tools like Cucumber, Rest Assured and TestNG framework.Demonstrable work done in product development & quality with teams spread across different locations worldwideGood written & verbal communication skillsGood Analytical & Effective interpersonal skillsWhat will you be doing in this role?This is hands on role with skill sets in automation & performance engineeringThe person will not have a dedicated team under himBe prepared to evaluate, learn and use new toolsAbility to work accurately under pressure & delivering as per the expectationsAbility to prioritize individual & team’s workloadAbility to handle any other reasonable task as specified by managementAbout the Team   The existing team is spread across India and includes Testers with strong technical and analytical skills. We have a great skill set in Java, Selenium, Python, C#, HTML5, Web API, SQL and JavaScript, to name a few of the Tools and technologies.You would be part of large QA Group responsible for delivering world class products and innovative solutions in the field of IP .Hours of WorkThis is permanent position with Clarivate.
