Strategic Account ManagerAs a Strategic Account Manager, you will manage 25+ law firms, consulting firm and financial institutions. You will work to build strong relationships and identify ways that our Clarivate product suite can provide solutions to some of their most challenging Information Service challenges. Working with experienced colleagues, you will leverage your knowledge and understanding of Intellectual Property to help clients achieve their objectives. Acting as “Quarterback”, you’ll work across a variety of teams to have a consistent consultative approach to presenting, marketing and selling our products.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments College Degree required, Master’s preferred.Minimum of 5-7 years sales experience in a consultative selling environment.It would be great if you also had . . . Industry knowledge and experience selling high-dollar products and servicesStrong networking and relationship building skillsAbility to manage and generate revenue from existing customers.A customer driven approach and good customer management skillsPrior US gov't market sector experience preferredPreferably located near Washington DCWhat will you be doing in this role?Develop new revenue from portfolio (existing and new departments) to achieve/exceed territory revenue plan.To maintain existing subscriber base through timely and commercially sound renewals.To effectively liaise with the customer base through office-based and face to face contact and proactively steer relationships towards strategic partnership status.To prepare strategic account planning which includes an organization profileTo acquire detailed in-depth knowledge of the Scientific and Academic Research product portfolio.To stay abreast of new product releases and go-to-market plans.To maintain and update sales progress reports on CRM (Salesforce.com) and other reporting mechanisms according to agreed time frames.About the Team This team is filled with solid performers who consistently achieve their sales objectives.
