The role will include development of the supplier management practice, creating dashboards and reporting on periodic KPIs & metrics to ensure and manage the overall effectiveness and evolving maturity of the supplier management practice across the GNIO service estate. ResponsibilitiesBuild, enhance and mature a strong Supplier management practice within GNIOEngage, influence, and evangelize Supplier Management practices with internal stakeholders to align technology service excellenceHelp team members of the organization grow their skills and experienceDrive Continuous Improvement culture and ownership across entire supplier management practiceEnsure that Equinix GNIO suppliers and their performances are managed appropriately to support the seamless provision and availability of quality products and servicesCreating and maintaining a supplier process, policy, and updated supplier informationManage R&M support contracts and and annual renewals across the GNIO supplier estate.Oversee supplier performance, cost, value-add and SLA adherence from a Service Operations perspectiveAct as a senior escalation point for Supplier related issuesKey DeliverablesRunning and participating in Supplier Management reviews and Quarterly Business reviews with other cross functional supplier management colleaguesDelivering Supplier Management reporting into Senior Leadership and the wider businessOnboarding / Offboarding Suppliers (both small and large scale service providers) across a range of Network products and services, carefully managing Service integrationGlobalising Supplier Information and standardsImplementing and running Service Improvement Plans for underperforming SuppliersNegotiate third party contracts from a Service Operations perspectiveDevelop and maintain a supplier management dashboard / metrics reporting -  highlighting key performance of the Supplier Management practice and in-progress and completed improvement initiativesContinually review the E2E Supplier Management practice and ensure links into internal agile development team backlogsPartner with Asset Management team for Asset information relating to specific suppliersEmploy CI tools & techniques to optimize process value streams, removing waste and enhancing service levels to internal & external customersQualifications3+ years of experience working in a Supplier leadership role across multiple suppliersExperience in managing Supplier relationships with high profile suppliersExperience in a similar IT or Networking based role would be idealExperience in communicating at a senior levelSuccessful experience of working in a teamProven delivery of Continuous Improvement initiativesSkills & AttributesAbility to build strong relationships with peers, suppliers, and 1st / 2nd level  leaders both internal and external to the companyEnthusiasm for collaborating cross-functionally and cross-product to identify and lead the ongoing support of the global platformCommunicate clear in both writing and verbal formats for complex details, explain technical attributes easily and understandable.Strong interpersonal and leadership skills of teams across multiple geo-locationsITILv3/4 certification essentialSIAM Certification desirableComfortable with ambiguityAble to bring clarity to their teamsEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
