Performs monthly accounting close activities focused on more risky and complicated countries.What you will be doingReview contracts with customers for revenue accounting treatment and draft accounting memos and write-ups in accordance with ASC 606Partner with FP&A and Sales to advise accounting treatment and financial impact on large and complex revenue transactionsPerform accounting analysis and prepare journal entries related to bad debt, sales allowance and other revenue related accountsPrepare account reconciliations for revenue related GL accounts, investigate and resolve variances where necessaryPrepare and execute SOX controls and ensure SOX compliance at all timePrepare month end management reporting package including changes in revenue reserves and other revenue accounting mattersPrepare ASC 606 disclosures for Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) reportingReview lease contracts for lease accounting treatment and draft accounting memos and write-ups in accordance with ASC 842Partner with FP&A and Real Estate team to advise accounting treatment and financial impacts on upcoming lease transactionsPrepare ASC 842 disclosures for SEC reportingSupport external and internal audits, including preparing working papers for the auditors and analyzing dataPerform ad hoc projects (e.g. M&A, asset purchase accounting analysis etc) as neededWhat you should haveBachelor’s degree in finance/accounting and/or equivalent experience3+ years of accounting experience.
