Our global platform allows customers to place infrastructure wherever they need it and connect it to everything they need to succeed. We are a fast-growing global company with 78 consecutive quarters of growth. Through our innovative portfolio of high-performance products and services, we have created the largest, most active global ecosystem of 10,000+ companies, including 2,000+ networks and 3,000 cloud and IT service providers in 31 countries spanning six continents.  A career at Equinix means you will collaborate on work that impacts the world and be surrounded by endless opportunities to learn new skills and grow in varied directions. We embrace diversity in thought and contribution and are committed to providing an equitable work environment. that is foundational to our core values as a company and is vital to our success.What you’ll be doingBudget Management, coordinates and consolidates budget and forecast inputs from Data Center Operations teams, undertakes ad hoc analysis to help drive forecast adjustments. Works to support operations finance on budget, forecast and month end deliverables.Responsible for running and providing commitment tracking reporting to support the IBX teams, supporting ops finance on month end reporting, variance commentary, and supporting the accrual process.Investigates actual vs. forecast variances.Provides analysis and performs ad hoc duties as required.Supports the team by creating Purchase Requisitions for the country/region expenses.Monitors purchase order quality and provides KPI reporting to improve process.Works with requestors to make sure POs receipted correctly and timely.Updates commitment values vs. POs &, working with Ops Finance/General Ledger, assesses what commitments have not been made vs. budget.Ensures compliance of Purchase Requests (5 W’s), all required contracts/legal approvals, accounting codes and competitive bids.Solves billing/invoice problems related to the country/region expenses.Generate KPI reporting around Ops tasks completion and accuracy (such as receipting).Key touch point for Ops team on finance admin related queries.Assists in month end accrual process.Provides recommendations for process improvement/efficiency gains.Acts as the link between the business and finance to meet commitments.Contacts vendor for invoices where necessarySupports vendors as key point of contact for complex query resolution management working closely with accounts payable team.What we’ll expect from youBachelor's degreeProficient in ExcelAdvanced English and SpanishStrong ability in leadership and communicationSolid knowledge in construction and control budget and finance reportStrong knowledge in forecast and control KPI´sWhat will be the huge differential if you have:Knowledge with system: Oracle R12, SAP, Coupa or APTTUSExperience in Procurement and creating purchase requisitionsExperience in Vendor relations for invoice managementExperience in Accounts Payable and General LedgerExperience in procurement and creating purchase requisitions and accounts payableWhy EquinixThe opportunity to be part of the digital transformation in the world in a company that was elected by the employees as the best places to work by Glassdoor and it´s is GPTW for several consecutive years.Equinix is an equal opportunity employer.
