The appointed sales leader will play a key role in leading this highly visible and motivated team that generates revenues and achieves individual, team and organizational quotas. You'll be a valuable contributor to the sales strategy while providing a definition and implementation of the plan for sales to achieve corporate objectives.This is a high-growth opportunity working with our GB businesses and it will involve you positioning our best-in-class analytics solutions to businesses looking to leverage their data to make faster decisions and deliver better outcomes. Coach direct reports regarding strategies to drive closureReporting on sales activity and forecast to senior sales managementConsistently monitoring the sales activity of the team, and tracking the resultsSupporting direct reports by participating and leading in client and prospect meetingsEngaging other corporate resources as requiredWho you are…Experienced. Extensive software sales experience in an individual contributor and management role, including sales management experience. Minimum 2 years of people management experience.Performer. Consistent overachievement of sales goals in a large geographic territory. Mission-Driven. Highly driven individual with an execution focus and a strong sense of urgency. Alignment and commitment to Tableau’s Core Values and Mission.Excellent Communicator. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Japanese.
