To get the best candidate experience, please consider applying for a maximum of 3 roles within 12 months to ensure you are not duplicating efforts.Job CategoryCustomer Success GroupJob DetailsThe Senior Analyst (Business Analysis), Risk Management, is a part of the Critical Response and Customer Readiness (CR + CR) team, which quarterbacks key escalation management pathways within the Customer Success Group at Salesforce. The Risk Management team within CR + CR is responsible for building insights on key risks to the business based on myriad quantitative and qualitative data streams. In this role, the Senior Analyst, Business Analysis, will support key analytical components of our Risk Identification and Prioritisation efforts. We are looking for outstanding hands-on insights analyst/Sr. analyst who can contribute to the vision of the Risk Management team. This is an individual contributor role, which has high visibility and delivers business impact. The role requires the ability to generate hypotheses, structure analysis to confirm or reject the hypotheses, acquire the necessary data components, conduct the analysis and communicate the findings in a simple and compelling manner.  The role requires the ability to process information at scale, identify underlying risk themes/ patterns, contextualize the magnitude of the risk and compellingly communicate the risk to the organisation, including Salesforce leadership. They will also support ongoing ad-hoc analytical requests from the business to understand the health of the program.   Essential Technical Skills:Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Business, Statistics, or Data Science related field with 4+ years of experience in a data analytics role.Database Skills: The ideal candidate should be proficient in SQL and know about SQL databasesData Warehousing: Understanding the concepts of data warehousing, including ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data modeling is essentialStorytelling : Excellent skill of converting an analysis to an Exec level story.Data Visualization: The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of data visualization tools such as Tableau.  Knowledge of Salesforce BI tools is a plusDemonstrated experience of creating & presenting decks/dashboards/analysis to the leadership team & ability to explain complex analytical concepts to executives.Preferred Technical Skills:Familiarity with Salesforce Einstein reporting is an advantageProgramming Skills: Strong foundation in programming languages like Python is not essential but will be an advantageEssential characteristics:Self starter, who can structure problems and ask the right questions to drive resultsA solution-oriented mindset: Continuously moves towards the end goal and has a creative approach to resolve obstaclesTakes personal accountability and expects it in others.
