Finance Manager, Accounting I – Grade 40 – StandardBlue Yonder is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.As the Accounting Manager, you will oversee and manage the general accounting functions for some of the EMEA entities and you will report to the Accounting Director.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and manage general ledger accounting functions for the EMEA entities.Provides financial information to management by researching and analysing accounting data; preparing reports.Manages end to end delivery of local reporting as required for each entity, ensuring complete understanding of US to Local differences.Play an integral role with monthly accounting duties assigned to the regional accounting group within a tight monthly closing timetable including journal preparation or approval, reconciliation work and analysis.Approve all the balance sheet accounts for entities assigned on monthly basis in Blackline.Post payroll related journals such as vacation accruals for related entities where applicable.Approve Intercompany schedule/reconciliation and invoices from entity and from USA to entity, monthly and settle ICO liabilities.Help Accounting Director review ICO schedules and invoices prepared by other team members before final approval.Review Balance sheet account schedules and supporting documentation as requested by internal auditors.Coordinate matters with other departments as needed.Manage quarterly provisions, periodic returns and filings.Responsible for the preparation of the Financial Statements for entities in region including support on Statutory Accounting and audits.Implement and enforce group policies and procedures as set by the parent company and/or local management.Evaluate internal controls (Sarbanes Oxley), recommend and implement departmental process improvement initiatives.Work with the rest of EMEA Accounting group in meeting departmental goals and objectives set by senior management.Liaise with local external accounting and payroll service providers, where applicable.Supervise a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.Support accounting projects.Essential5 years+ experience in an Accounting Shared Services Centre environment, ideally for an international company.At least 3 years of supervisory experience.Excellent communication and management skills.Existing recognized accounting qualification or qualified by Experience.Must be fluent in English.
