As a member of the BY-UX team, you will work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to ensure that customer insights inform product design decisions and meet all user and client expectations at the time of delivery. As a member of BY UX Researcher team your primarily responsibility includes planning and designing survey tools to conducting user-centered design research and usability testing for mobile and web-based enterprise solutions. The user research includes identification of user needs and goals, as well as task and workflow modeling. The usability testing includes in-depth validation and summative testing.Who you are? You are someone who can bring clear understanding to our users and their needs. You are right for this role if you can:Create guidelines and toolkits for usability testing and user research.Deliver research proposals: Clarify research goals based on input from Product Management and UX Design team.Develop innovative strategies to answer research questions with limited resources. Design research protocols and prepare research plans.Plan user research activities such as participant recruiting and scheduling, materials production, lab preparation, and other logistics.Create research materials as necessary collaborating with variety of stakeholders.Regularly communicate status of projects and other key information to business stakeholders.Perform data analysis: Perform qualitative and/or quantitative analyses. Prepare initial results and share with key stakeholders.Synthesize, report, and advocate: Translate research findings into actionable, prioritized design recommendations.Document and present findings in clear, concise, and visual manner to provide recommendations to stakeholders and technologists help improve product designs early in the design cycle.Conduct rapid iterative usability testing of wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.Perform validation usability testing to determine whether features and products have met business and usability objectives.Be self-directed and highly organized with a strong eye for detail.What we are looking forBachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, or related field3+ years of experience in user research, product development, or related fieldStrong analytical skills and ability to synthesize research findings into actionable recommendationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience with a variety of research methods, including qualitative and quantitative studies, surveys, usability tests, and interviewsAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamStrong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyKnowledge of user-centered design principles and experience applying them in a product development contextFamiliarity with user research tools and technologies, such as usability testing software, survey tools, and analytics platforms.*LI-SR1#LI- REMOTE-------------------------------------------*The salary range for this position is $83,114 - $104,992The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.
