Our responsibilities include all aspects of the region, including operations in the US, Canada, and Latin America.We are looking for an Associate Category Manager, Sneakers, to join our Verticals team at eBay. You will help own the Sneakers category. If you have a love of sneakers and sneaker culture, an ownership mentality, can build cross-functional relationships, and are ready to make an exciting move, we would love to hear from you!The OpportunityThe role is to contribute to the overall Sneakers category strategy, supporting demand driving and delivering amazing customer experiences to grow the business.Key Responsibilities:Analyzing business performance metrics and providing recommendationsDrive engagement for eBay Sneakers by leveraging industry insights to develop relevant stories and executions for the business unitOwn business KPIs and data analytics across marketing channelsPlan and execute deals, key cultural, and retail momentsWork with Account and Category Managers to execute strategic initiatives holistically to deliver collaborations, partnerships and improve buyer/seller satisfactionCollaborate with cross-functional team to drive cross-merchandising executionsPreferred Qualifications:2-4 years of proven experience in planning, buying, merchandising, or category management in the retail or consumer products industry. E-commerce experience required.Passion for sneakers with a broader interest in fashion & Luxury Goods; experience in the space and/or relationships with key industry players.Motivated to grow with an entrepreneurial mentality to drive performance against agreed important metrics.College degree required.Strong analytical skills and business sense in sophisticated data environment; ability to make the data speak volumes about program performance, trends, and areas of opportunity.Benefits:Benefits are an essential part of your total compensation for the work you do every day. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
