If you have an ownership mentality, are able to build cross-functional relationships, and are ready to make an exciting move, we would love to hear from you!The OpportunityThe role is to contribute to the overall eBay Refurbished vertical strategy through working with internal partners as well as important sellers, brands, retailers, and buyers to make sure eBay has the inventory and on-site experience to grow the business. You and the team will be accountable for the success of the categories.Key responsibilities:The Account Manager will ultimately be responsible for seller success within the Hard Home and Emerging Verticals team leading to meaningful improvement in our seller satisfaction scores by driving partnerships and providing seller supportThis individual will be the heart of the seller community, engaging daily with top sellers, mapping out seller optimization and support plans, attending tradeshows and events while building out seller-level metrics for success and reporting out weekly, monthly, and quarterlyScaling up top seller activities by providing constructive business consultation and key guidanceWork collaboratively with internal and external resources, inclusive of trust & safety, product management, marketing, advertising, and business development teams to meet business targetsDive deep into the seller’s business to understand the key levers/drivers impacting performance and report out on those metrics regularlyDevelop an excellent understanding of key sellers’ business operations and current strategies and utilize those insights to find and deliver growth opportunitiesPreferred Qualifications:At least 3 - 5 years working experience in category management or account management roleStrong background in driving results through business development and relationship managementEffective communication skills and highly self-motivated to drive overall resultsSolid cross functional partner with problem solving mindsetExperience cultivating relationships with external partnersBenefits:eBay Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
