Our People M&A Project Manager will need to handle multiple deals simultaneously, develop sophisticated project plans, analyze data, and communicate effectively with various stakeholders across the deal, both internal and external to eBay. This is a dynamic space with huge opportunity to continue your career journey and grow with eBay!To be successful in this role you need to possess strong organization and communication skills as you will be expected to coordinate significant initiatives across teams and thoughtfully consider and communicate any downstream and upstream impacts.ResponsibilitiesYou will work with the People M&A Deal Lead and Integration Lead to support the People team’s due diligence and integration/separation activities, including providing project management on multiple concurrent acquisitions, divestitures, and other transactionsOrganize and support deal lead and workstreams during diligence and integration to ensure People team results are timely and go above and beyond expectationsDefine, and communicate appropriate performance measurements to project team and partners and track their progress accordinglyAssist in developing project plans, identifying interdependencies and risks and tracking their progress to advise proactive updates to relevant People team’s team membersCollaborate with People Centers of Excellence (COEs) to conduct employee related data analysis and prepare recommendations to support the deal value driversWork with People M&A team to identify lessons learned and process improvements to support continuous improvement of People M&A infrastructureSupport and/or own People M&A capability building projects including developing training materials for team member’s supporting deal activityPrepare appropriate documentation to close out integration efforts and facilitate effective hand-offsKnowledge and SkillsBachelor or master’s degree in a relevant field plus 4 or more years of progressive success as a Project ManagerPreferred candidates will have 2+ years’ experience running a complete integration process for a small too mid to large-scale M&A projectProject Management skills certified or equivalent experience preferred (e.g., PMP, CSM)Growth mindset - continuous learning, seek to improve, embrace new insights, perspectives, technology. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
