What We’re Looking For: The Career Content Producer creates meaningful and engaging written, video, and other multimedia content to help our students achieve their desired career outcomes. They design, research, and develop student-facing learning materials, including long form text, student-facing newsletters, video content, and other multimedia content. The video content will be created to enhance asynchronous tools and resources, career workshops, microlearning experiences, and more. For each piece of content, the Career Content Producers considers the target persona, ensures relevance to diverse learners, identifies the most effective medium, develops professional and engaging multimedia or text-based content, and aligns the experience with team goals and standards of excellence. They embed effective ways of assessing the satisfaction, comprehension, and application of the topic into the content, and they use this data and feedback to enhance and iterate.   The Career Content Producer also has an active role in collaborating and building relationships with relevant stakeholders, including other Workforce Engagement team members and the Platform Service Experience team.  Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To: Multimedia Learning Content: Execute the vision for the career learning programs by developing multimedia and video-based content.  Partner with stakeholders and team members to storyboard the media, write scripts or text, conduct any necessary interviews of industry partners or internal staff, and edit the multimedia content into a professional final product. Develop a deep understanding of the student experience and help explore opportunities for content to be more engaging and centered around our learner’s motivations and desired outcomes.  Create visually appealing graphics to support student-facing career learning programs.  Learn from content development processes and outcomes, and iterate for continuous improvement. Stay abreast of current industry trends and create content to meet demands. Student-Facing Learning Experiences & Communications: Create student-facing newsletters that center around career themes, tips and advice. Write long form articles for the CEN that cover recent events, highlight student success, explain a career topic in detail, or offer a perspective on a career trend.  Develop, host, and co-host high-quality career workshops as needed. Use data to contribute big ideas towards increasing student comprehension and application of content to their desired career outcomes. Admin and Additional Projects: Contribute to team goals and culture by actively participating in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, retreats, and chat. Contribute to other team initiatives as needed, including but not limited to, pilots, or special projects as assigned.  Things That Should Be In Your Background: 3 to 5 years of experience in communications, public relations, video or relevant field involving professional writing. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Strong copywriting and content creation skills. Video production and editing experience. Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure. Ability to operate independently in a remote environment. Must be able to think analytically and strategically. Other Attributes That Will Help You In This Role: A positive, collaborative team player. Not afraid of change, someone who brings order to chaos or ambiguous circumstances. Ability to think of creative, unorthodox solutions when needed. Experience with Google Suite, Zoom, Salesforce, Splash preferred. Experience working with career services and/or higher education is desired.
