MINT MOBILE is seeking a talented Scrum Master to join the PMO Team in Costa Mesa, CA! Individual reports to Sr. Scrum Master . Role is remote ; must reside in the United States. ABOUT THE ROLE The Scrum Master works with a team of highly skilled and experienced engineers as well as the entire organization to deliver a great customer experience, keep teams aligned on the goal and ensure the success of projects.  Your usual day of awesomeness includes:   Support 2-3 teams by ensuring they follow the Scrum framework, removing obstacles, and being a servant leader for the teams. Organize and lead Scrum ceremonies, ensuring they are productive and everyone participates effectively. Communicate with teams and stakeholders, keeping them updated on project progress, identifying risks/issues, and ensuring alignment on deliverables/outcomes. Improve team productivity and efficiency by coaching and mentoring team members, identifying areas for improvement, new processes or tools for effective work. Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize and define backlog items to ensure that the team is working on the most important tasks and understands expectations. Monitor and track team performance, schedule, and progress. Discussing performance metrics and communicating updates to stakeholders. Facilitate the removal of impediments and obstacles that affect the team's productivity and progress. Work with the team to find solutions and implement improvements. Oversee and manage scope, timeline, quality, goals, and deliverables that support the business goals. Strive for, maintain and further develop excellence in processes and services, proactively manage impediments and escalations.  Provide timely, constructive feedback to management and team members on performance, and work with individuals to identify areas for improvement and development. Ability to report on Scrum team metrics and drive continuous improvement. Educate teams and overall organization on Agile best practices. Show the organization that the Agile approach produces higher quality, more throughput, and better team engagement! WHAT YOU BRING At least 1-3 years of experience playing the Scrum Master role for multiple software development teams. Knowledge and passion for Scrum and other agile approaches; KanBan, ScrumBan, SAFe, LeSS. Excellent verbal and written communication. Great skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency. A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success. Ability to effectively report the status of tickets, blockers, and metrics working in concert with program managers and product managers to identify potential risks and issues. Proficient in leading 1-2 scrum teams skillfully with little to no challenges. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Must work effectively with cross-functional teams to align strategies, activities, and timing.  Achieves on-time and in-scope deliverables.  Understanding of how Scrum Masters and Program Managers complement and collaborate to ensure timely delivery of projects and increased throughput. Experience with fast-paced business-to-consumer web application development. Strong interpersonal skills, leadership skills, problem-solving skills.
