Iterative Health is pioneering the use of artificial intelligence-based precision medicine in gastroenterology, with the aim of helping to optimize clinical trials investigating the treatment of IBD. We use advanced machine learning and computer vision to interpret endoscopic videos along with other types of data, helping clinicians better assess patients with potential GI problems. Ultimately, the company aims to establish more meaningful endpoints to serve as better predictors of both therapeutic response and disease outcomes.
This role will support the success of high impact projects that are at the leading edge of machine learning in the GI space. You will work with our pharmaceutical clients, our internal Life Sciences and Machine Learning teams to deliver novel solutions to address our partners’ biggest challenges. You will also be the program manager for our ML efforts across all of our products. This includes everything from partnering with our clients to understand their problem space, defining requirements and assessing feasibility, to managing prioritization, resources and timelines with our ML team.
What you'll be doing:
Solution Design:
Help set the scientific strategy for our client engagements in Life Sciences by coordinating with our Partnerships team, Machine Learning, Data Operations and product to develop SoWs and deliver against them
Work collaboratively with our clients (pharma), Life Sciences, Scientific and Data Strategy and ML teams to design solutions that address customer challenges
Collaborate with our Scientific team, Product Managers, Annotations team and ML Engineers to align on our quarterly roadmap
Delivery and Program Management:
Partner closely with functional team leaders to develop and manage project goals, timelines, and strategy
Track key project and team milestones, and facilitate key decision-making, ensuring timely completion
Oversee day-to-day technical developments and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Collaborate across a range of groups - Pharma, ML, Product, Program, Data Operations - to move programs forward
Effectively communicate and document the status and timelines of projects to key stakeholders and manage cross-functional dependencies to deliver business objectives on time
Run rituals for our ML team including backlog planning, standups, status reporting etc.
Required skills:
Advanced academic and/or research background within the biomedical space (Gastrointestinal space a plus!)
Ability to delight clients by translating their challenges into actionable solutions
Ability to build strong partnerships with multidisciplinary teams and foster collaboration during design and delivery of solutions.
Highly organized with the ability to juggle competing priorities
Excited about having an impact in the GI space and improving patient outcomes
