Role summary
The ERP & Supply chain Applications team’s mission is to ensure we meet our engineering, manufacturing and supply chain needs with the end customer in mind. We achieve that mission through building a suite of applications that integrate our platforms together. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining this suite of applications in Basecamp (Supply chain modules), participate in code reviews, and contribute to the development of software engineering best practices. This role is based in our office in Belgrade, Serbia (Airport City) and will report into the Senior Manager, Software Engineering.
Responsibilities
Build, test and release complex mission critical full-stack applications for internal and external facing software.
Design and implement frontend code and algorithms using ReactJS, Redux, Typescript as well as backend code using Python, AWS Services, Lambdas, NoSQL databases.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA testing, technical product management and UI/UX design teams to define application features.
Use automation as an opportunity to reduce roadblocks and achieve deliverables.
Ensure good software architecture practices are followed across the team; actively contribute to code and design reviews; perform unit testing to deliver high quality software.
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer developing and leading custom solutions or applications.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent degrees or practical experience.
Advanced proficiency in the following frontend languages & technologies: ReactJS, HTML, CSS, React Router, Redux, GraphQL
Advanced proficiency in the following backend and cloud languages & technologies: Python, AWS Services, Lambdas, NoSQL databases
Advanced proficiency in the following cloud technologies: AWS Services, Lambdas, EC2, S3, API Gateway, CloudWatch, CloudFormation
You have previously handled projects or application features independently including design, development, and deployment.
Great understanding of caching, authentication, authorization, and privacy considerations
Unit testing and test-driven development experience
Systematic troubleshooting and root cause analysis experience
Knowledge of Agile Development of Accessible Software Tools.
Excellent command in English, written and spoken.
