Date Posted: May 10, 2023   Position :            Product Manager (multiple openings) Job Location:    Astera Labs, Inc., 2901 Tasman Drive, Suite 204, Santa Clara, CA 95054 USA With a moderate amount of independent decision making and minimum supervision, the Product Manager will be responsible for directing, managing, and planning the engineering of product configurations for Astera Lab's proprietary Retimer product lines to meet customer needs. Duties include: Establishing technical and strategic goals within broad outlines provided by top management. Managing the coordination and integration of engineering activities in customer projects and engineering collaboration with Astera Lab's ecosystem partners. Conferring with management, systems and applications, firmware engineers to discuss product specifications or procedures. Assessing product engineering feasibility and business opportunity for Astera Lab's propriety product lines by analyzing connectivity technologies (PCIe & Computer Express Link), resources needed, and market requirements. The Product Manager will present and explain proposals, reports, and findings internally and to ecosystem partners. Liaising with clients and technology partners to present Astera Labs PCIe connectivity solutions and develop product specifications. Work with technology and ecosystem partners to conduct interoperation tests, analyze performance and benchmark data, and develop product strategies.
