This role will function as the strategic lead within CrowdStrike, responsible for understanding and developing competitive analysis for CrowdStrike’s platform. In this role you will be directly responsible for driving competitive field facing strategy, and working with our product teams to guide roadmap decisions by developing a deep, nuanced understanding of the technical capabilities needed to dominate the market, primary GTM strategy/tactics, as well as why CrowdStrike wins or loses. You will partner with senior leaders across Product Groups, Sales, Enablement, and Marketing to achieve these objectives and scale to a global level.This role requires deep technical knowledge in Endpoint Security, and a functional understanding of actual real-world deployments, extended use-cases, and customer motivations. The ultimate goal is to uncover new opportunities, strategies and tactics to enable CrowdStrike to win at scale.What You'll Do: You will be required to synthesize and formulate guidance from a variety of information levels and sources (technical, business, field, external) and regularly present key takeaways to the field and to senior leadershipProvide a field-actionable, in-depth, and ever-evolving understanding and analysis of competitive dynamics, relative to CrowdStrike solutions and capabilitiesFunction as the company’s strategic advisor on this market, and become the “de facto” subject matter expert on the market for all business units and functionsProvide tailored deal support (opportunity assessments & guidance), and develop a deep rapport with the fieldYou will work closely multiple teams within CrowdStrike, including key stakeholders (Office of the CTO, field leadership, sales ops, product, and marketing teams), functioning as a primary liaison for cross-functional corporate initiatives relating to increasing market share including direct development of competitive support material and competitive readiness plans.Make recommendations on sales tactics and product strategy to enable CrowdStrike to win in the market.Will be expected to be a self-starter with an ownership mentality. You will work autonomously in the development of project plans, requirements, timelines, content, and ongoing tracking/updates of the competition.
