This position is remote-friendly.Position Overview:As part of our NOC Team, this position will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining our server infrastructure and technology services as well as providing escalation support and assistance to all levels of the company.Primary Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Standard Time (may require some after-hours work).Primary Responsibilities:Manage and monitor systems and services that support the global operations of AlteryxResponse to and handling of incident management proceduresDeveloping solutions for automating and improving NOC support servicesIncident handling: notification, coordinating resources, troubleshooting, mitigation, and root cause analysisContinuously improve monitoring to be more proactive and automated for mitigating and reporting incidentsCreate and maintain detailed and complete system documentationWork service requests and tickets submitted to IT, reassigning, or escalating as neededProvide Linux and Windows server installation, administration, and maintenance as neededCoordinate weekly maintenance activities and communicate them to the organizationQualifications/Desired Skills:5+ years of IT Operations experience, including administration of Linux and Window servers2+ years of experience of working within or closely with NOCDemonstrable proficiency of scripting with PowerShell and BASH with a focus on automation. (systems management, services administration such as Active Directory, Azure AD, Exchange Online, etc.)Practical knowledge of and troubleshooting experience with networking equipment such as switches, routers, and firewall’s functions and servicesPractical knowledge of development frameworks and approaches such as Agile is a plusPractical knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP and Azure is a plusExperience working with automation and configuration management solutions such as Ansible is a plusExperience working with Git for code management is a plusExperience working with NewRelic for monitoring / automation is a plusPractical knowledge of Change Management processesAbility to work independently and as part of a team that operates outside normal business hoursExcellent troubleshooting and multi-tasking skillsAble to maintain composure and high-performance in critical situations with limited support staff and/or executive visibilityA strong desire to work with new and upcoming technologiesAble to provide professional, timely, and courteous customer serviceCommitment to their team, completing shifts by handing off important informationCompensation:Alteryx is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as your relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location. The salary range for this role in Southern California, Colorado, Washington, and Rhode Island is $69,100 - $81,000.The salary range for this role in New York City and Northern California is $75,500 - $85,600. In addition, you may be eligible for additional compensation, such as a bonus and stock grants.
