Most importantly, you will regularly exercise substantial discretionary and decision-making authority and is a senior member of the Supply Chain team and manage a small team of high performers in Supply Chain Management and Analysis.What will you do? Drives materials procurement activities and supplier management to assure production readiness and maintain desired performance and costsBuild strong relationships with external suppliersManages and oversees supply chain execution by Contract manufacturersOversee the development and planning of schedules for manufacturing activities and specific schedules for each supporting element; monitor schedule statuses, allocate resources, and address problems which may cause schedule impactsDevelop KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to monitor effective supply chain managementProvide motivational leadership and drive high levels of morale in the organizationCollaborate effectively with peers to deliver on mission critical objectivesManage team output and performance, including communicating expectations and accountability, establishing goals, and providing timely feedback/coaching for employee developmentDeliver improved P&L outcomes through continuous process improvement and by employing lean principles to improve operational effectiveness and reduce costsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:  Extensive knowledge and expertise within electronics industry supply chain management / operations.In-depth knowledge and understanding of supply chain management, sourcing methods, and services and inventory management and a passion for data driven process improvementsA passion for and demonstrated success in driving process improvementsTeam player with deep cross-group collaboration and project management skills, with experience developing efficient work plans for complex projects involving many groups, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong problem-solving aptitude: ability to collect facts, analyze large data sets using advanced capabilities with analytical tools (e.g., Excel, Access, etc.) to provide strategic and actionable intelligence to the Director of Supply ChainWilling to make tough/unpopular decisions and "hold their own" with other functions and the ability to influence and embrace cross functional teams.How do you qualify?Minimum 12+ years of related experience in high technology Enterprise level supply chain management managing spend greater than $100 million USHold a B.Sc. in Supply Chain or Business with a Supply Chain concentration or similar industry experience.  MBA preferred.Experience managing a global teamCPIM, CPM Certifications preferredFamiliarity with Sarbanes Oxley compliance requirements from a supply chain perspectivePhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentDuties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table. Duties require the ability to utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material. Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends).
