The candidate will create product cost projections and analyze cost, bill of material, and overhead to ensure accurate costing.As a key member of the FP&A team, the Cost Analyst will partner with Operations, Engineering, and other Finance colleagues to deliver timely and reliable projections within corporate deadlines.The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of manufacturing operations, inventory, and cost accounting, and the ability to identify and partner on cost optimization strategies. This role requires a confident, self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, changing environment.What you'll be doing:Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and other Finance colleagues to create product cost projections, ad hoc analysis and financial models for business insight and effective decision-making.Work with finance colleagues to deliver timely and reliable projections within corporate deadlines.Support Finance in monthly and quarter-close Accounting and SOX compliance controls and processes.Identify and support continual process and procedure improvements for increased efficiency of leading data for analysis.What we need to see:Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, MBA or advanced degree in Accounting or Finance a plus.Minimum of 5 years of product cost semiconductor proven experience at a global, high-tech corporation.Deep understanding of manufacturing operations, inventory, and cost accounting.Experience with ERP systems, with a preference for SAP or other leading ERP system.Strong interpersonal and communication, written and verbal English skills.Ability to multi-task and work independently and in teams to identify and solve problems.Ways to stand out from the crowd:Strong ability to drive continuous improvement of systems and processes.Confidence, self-motivation, and high energy with the highest degree of ethics.Willingness to new ways of working which may require some learning but will make you a successful teammate.Enjoy working in a rapidly changing environment with multiple priorities.Experience with MS Office (Excel, PP), SAP ERP, Power BI, Tableau, Power Query.NVIDIA has some of the most talented and forward-thinking individuals in the world working for us.
