Sr. Manager, Cloud ServicesStatus: Exempt (Salaried) Department: 115 – Information TechnologyPosition SummaryThe Senior Manager, Cloud Services, is a key leader in moving forward cloud strategy, ensuring support, and maximizing usage across the cloud portfolio.  This includes cloud services, collaboration tools, O365, SaaS, and the Business Intelligence portfolio.  This role is an anchor to stakeholder communications, expectations, and solutions.  The individual is responsible for ensuring quality delivery of cloud services in an enterprise environment.  Continual improvement, innovation and automation are important aspects of this role.   The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills. The candidate will be detail-oriented, and results focused and display strong problem solving and teamwork skills.  The Senior Manager will have a high level of exposure across lines of business and have the opportunity to work with stakeholders across lines of business to create and implement innovative solutions to appropriately manage risks within Technology.  The role will collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Applications, and Infrastructure Operations to create and support an operational environment for new and existing services supported by Cloud Infrastructure.Core Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead cloud strategy, drive solutions, develop offerings, and accelerators. Maintain the business relationship with key leadership, functional partners, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and satisfaction with capabilities and needs.Work as the primary interface between senior stakeholders within IT and the Business to clearly define, communicate, document, and manage cloud service requirements.Owns the design, execution, rollout, and evangelism of the cloud services model.As Cloud services leader and architect, provide architectural vision and guidance demonstrating expertise, creativity, flexibility, and empathy.Encompasses all aspects of unified communication and collaboration, SaaS, business intelligence and data teams.Partners with Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure Operations and Application areas to develop and maintain procedures for applications, services, continuity, and disaster recovery as appropriate.Provides guidance to Application teams to ensure adherence to Cloud architecture requirements.Monitor and manage technical escalation for Cloud Operations, ensuring timely liaison with vendors regarding problems, fixes, and required enhancements. Work with others to identify new tools and process to improve the cloud platform and automate processes and drive adoption.Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the main technology base, and a general understanding of the other technology bases which together form the overall technical direction Monitoring the performance of the service and Continuous Improvement of the service.Ensure existing cloud-based solutions are properly scaled, designed, and maintained for Plug’s critical UC&C tools and environments (Microsoft O365/Zoom/ClickShare). Lead the development of an execution roadmap that details a strategic journey from the current state to realization of the future state vision with incremental release of technical and operational features and business value.Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent job experience7+  years of enterprise management, program management, and/or cloud services experience5+ years experience and interest in the Microsoft O365 ecosystem (Teams, SharePoint, PowerApps, Outlook/Exchange, OneDrive) and other UC tools (Zoom, ClickShare, A/V practices)3-5 years of management and leadership experiencePrior experience of managing people in a global, matrixed organizationAnalytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to develop quick, accurate situational awarenessTrack record of driving customer value/satisfaction, managing customer escalations, balancing customer expectations, and negotiating successful resolutionsStrong organizational skills: self-motivation and the ability to overcome adversity effectivelyAbility to maintain open and constant communication with internal employees, contractors, customers, managers, and others as neededExperience with vendor performance management, including development and monitoring of SOWs and deliverables, SLA compliance, and general vendor relationship managementExposure and working knowledge of Data Warehousing / BI / Reporting solution / Data Visualization platforms that generate business valueStrong communication, presentation, written and facilitation skillsPay Rate:$86,815.00 - $138,904.00We offer a fantastic total rewards package at Plug, and a brief summary is below:✓Base salary is determined on a number of factors including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography.
