Test Engineer

If you already have a Candidate Account, please Sign-In before you apply.Job Description:The Test Engineer will be responsible for setting up test systems and testing/debugging various optical and electrical assembles. Testing includes R&D testing, product validation testing, and compliance to specifications (customer and regulatory). Setting up test systems includes both hardware and programming/automation, when applicable. Debugging includes identifying the root cause of issues and help identify corrective action. Candidate must work well in a cross functional team environment as well as independently.Required skills:Experience in testing optical transceivers and other optical components/systems.Knowledge of optical system level testing.Customer and MSA (multi source agreement) compliance testing such as DVT testing.Ability to program test systems using commonly used programming languages, e.g. Python.Education/Experience:Bachelors in Engineering and 12+ years of related experience or Masters degree in Engineering and 10+ years of experience or PhD in Engineering and 7+ years of experience.
