You will work closely with finance, procurement, and technical teams to identify cost-saving opportunities, develop budgets and forecasts, and ensure that expenses are in line with company goals and objectives.ResponsibilitiesProcure to Pay ProcessCreates Purchase Requisitions for the country/region expenses within a moderate scopeMonitors Purchase order KPIs and recommends process improvementsResolves PO problems through partnership with internal and external stakeholdersAnalyzes budget and commitments for trends to resolve inconsistencies and process adherence issuesBudget ManagementCoordinates and consolidates budget and forecast inputs from Data Center Operations teams, completes analysis to help drive forecast adjustmentsReportingRuns and provides commitment tracking reporting to Data Center teams, supporting Ops finance on month end reporting, variance commentary, and supporting the accrual processGenerate KPI reporting around Ops tasks completion and accuracy (such as receipting) and provides analysisProvides process improvement recommendations and supports implementation effortsBusiness RelationshipsKey touch point for Ops team on finance admin related queriesPartners with vendors for moderate query resolution management working closely with the Accounts Payable teamEnsures budget, forecast and month end results are timely and accurateActs as the link between the business and Finance to meet commitmentsFinancial Problem SolvingSolves problems and applies experience to analyze possible solutions within a moderate scopeInvestigates actual vs. forecast variances and supports development of executive summaries Conducts month end accrual processProvides moderate levels of analysis and performs ad hoc duties as required; calls out sophisticated analytic needs to FP&A teamProvides recommendations for process improvement/efficiency gains and supports implementation effortsQualificationsAt least 3 years of experience in financial analysis or expense management, preferably in a data center or IT environment orBachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related fieldStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in Excel and other financial analysis tools.Knowledge of data center operations and technologies.Understanding of financial accounting principles and practices.Equinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
