The TrO supports the strategy, execution and delivery of programs that seek to materially shift the trajectory of our business. This role will be accountable for the program management of one or several of Equinix’s top priorities and will act as a strategic partner to the initiative lead turning their vision of the program into reality.  This role will partner with a broad group of stakeholders to steer, govern and drive complex programs ensuring value is realized.   The first multi-year program that this role will help to lead surrounds our Future of Work initiative. This cross-functional project focuses on why, how and where we work at Equinix and will partner with stakeholders like HR and Finance to drive programs that affect all facets of the business. With all transformational projects this role will work on, the ability to drive change and gain buy in from top leadership, whether it be in Operations, Sales or Product, is mission critical.   Responsibilities Project and Program Management Plan complex, large-scale business transformation programs with global, cross-functional, and strategic impact Drive execution working closely with the leadership, sponsor, core team, and subject matter experts through project initiation through implementation and transition to business as usual Present to steering committees and drive decision-making. Understand the issues, identify the root cause, frame resolution options, articulate the findings in an actionable way, and drive the decision with the relevant stakeholders Remove ambiguity from complex initiatives and break them down to simple tasks for the project team to understand and execute Business Analysis Drive the problem solving of cross-functional issues, weighing the input of various stakeholders, and keeping in mind the overall initiative goals Work with the stakeholders to facilitate prioritization and business decisions Develop and monitor strategic business cases. Create and manage program budgets Create metrics and dashboards to track program objectives and measure impact Risk Management Identify, manage, and provide recommendations to drive closure of risks, actions, and issues Take council from senior leaders within and beyond Equinix to analyze complex problems and recommend action Identify dependencies on programs across Equinix, align objectives and monitor progress Communications and Change Management Effective communicator with sufficient business acumen and operational experience to advise and influence the most senior executives across the company Bring transformational leadership to drive change in behavior across Equinix Understand and utilize complex change management principles and best practices Build compelling content to communicate key program messaging and drive decisions Report status by providing periodic updates, highlighting risks, issues, and concerns Stakeholder Management Manage and align stakeholder expectations within and/or across functions Address program and interpersonal conflict head-on and tactfully Identify and proactively include the correct stakeholders into the program team and communications Escalate to resolve complex stakeholder issues Qualifications Critical Excellent program management expertise: experience leading project or programs that are global, cross-functional and deliver high impact/ROI High EQ: influential change-leader who can actively listen and challenge the direction while building followership and support by bringing people along Resilient in the face of challenge: Ability to lead teams through difficult situations and pressures Leads through ambiguity: makes decisions in ambiguous or complex situations.  Displays the flexibility to change directions as new information arises Out of the box thinker: strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Having the ability, tact, and courage to challenge the status quo Growth mindset: enthusiastic and curious with a passion to learn and develop Change agent: significant experience influencing and leading initiatives with senior leaders of the company.
