Our Marketing Cloud platform sent over 49 billion messages during Cyber Week. Our Data Platform is the backbone that supports this scale. We are looking for someone that has worked with similar data scales and has helped build next generation distributed data platforms to support that scale.Qualifications:BS or higher degree in Computer Science.10+ years hands on individual contributor or lead in system or database internals programming.Technical expertise with distributed systems, database replication, transaction management, high availability, highly concurrent and scalable enterprise products.Experience recruiting and mentoring senior and junior engineers.Proven track record of delivering and supporting large scale enterprise products and cloud services.Lead a team from initial team formation, product definition, development, deployment, go live and service ownership.Deep expertise in software development and quality engineering.Innovator with good ideas, strong problem solving and communication skills, and a results oriented attitude.Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic agile team environment.Desired Skills:Service owner for successful enterprise product.Experience with Big Data Services like Kafka, HDFS, Redis, Key-Value store, elastic/Open search or related technologies for 10+ yearsExperience building high-performance large-scale data services.Experience with resolving complex customer issues.
