If you believe in business as the greatest platform for change and in companies doing well and doing good– you’ve come to the right place.Role DescriptionThe Marketing Analytics Analyst will be responsible for delivering analytics, reporting, and data across numerous areas of marketing supporting our Field Marketing teams. As part of the Marketing Decision Science (MDS) team, the candidate will work closely with key marketing and sales stakeholders to define and measure business performance across different product lines, sales segments, and industries. This role will require the candidate to handle large sets of data within multiple systems to develop custom reports, as well as build and maintain key analytical frameworks and presentations to share this information with business owners. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Partnering with marketers to understand business goals, define KPIs, and provide insights and reporting on how marketing initiatives (campaigns, events, digital) are performingInterpret data to identify trends, patterns and insights to support data-driven decision makingDevelop and maintain analytics frameworks to provide new insights to the marketing and sales leadersProactively support ad-hoc requests to provide partners with intelligent insight to the health of the businessContribute to development of custom reporting frameworks to incorporate new data inputs, including new products and calculated metrics Required Skills/Experience:2+ years of experience in analytics related roles (Marketing Analytics or Sales Strategy preferred)Advanced Excel, data modeling and analysis skillsProficient in data visualization with TableauExperienced with data storytelling using tools such as Power PointPassion for data, and analysis; Comfortable working with large data setsProven ability to work independently and manage day-to-day projectsComfortable taking the initiative to develop solutions for unstructured problems and communicate the results to key customersHigh energy with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced and unstructured environmentTeam player, comfortable working with cross-functional team membersProven problem solving skillsStrong written and verbal ability to communicate ideas through dataBachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college/university with a relevant degreeExperience working with and presenting to executive-level stakeholders; strong executive presence Preferred Qualifications:Experience using data visualization tools (Tableau preferred)Knowledge of relational databases, SQL or similarMarketing and/or Sales Strategy Analytics experience a plusEnterprise (B2B) marketing experience a plusSalesforce experience a plusAccommodationsIf you require assistance due to a disability applying for open positions please submit a request via this Accommodations Request Form.Posting StatementAt Salesforce we believe that the business of business is to improve the state of our world.
