Role DescriptionThe Director, Industry Advisor - Retail will report to the VP of Retail Industry Advisors and collaborate with the existing IA team to define the strategy for the AMER market. The role will focus on developing a strong point of view and supporting strategy for Retail, staying abreast of industry trends, and understanding the importance of targeted messaging. Additionally, you will engage with customers, collaborate with field leadership teams on strategic customer engagements, approaches, customized enablement, and localized initiatives. As an advisor to C-level executives at brands, your role will involve ensuring that we listen to the voice of the customer and build lasting relationships throughout pre-sales, during the sales cycle, and post-sales.The ideal candidate will have experience in key functions including e-commerce, marketing, operations, data strategy, and customer service. One should possess a deep understanding of company operations, pain points, and opportunities across various sub-verticals within the retail space. Furthermore, you should have an extensive knowledge of industry trends and how they impact brands and consumers.
