What is the primary need, technical challenge and/or problem you will be responsible for?You will be part of Productivity Engineering Team, working as member of technical staff with a focus on a developing and shipping our product with quality. We are looking for a passionate and experienced engineer who has proven experience with release qualification of enterprise cloud offerings in SAAS and On-prem mode, automation and developing automation framework. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a high-performing team and gain experience with cutting-edge tools and technologies.The ideal candidate will have experience with simulation of customer workflow, integration and interoperability of software offerings with various cloud services; implementation and maintenance of CI pipeline; scale and performance of SAAS offerings; having technical background of different public cloud infrastructure like AWS, Azure and GCP and On-prem cloud infrastructure like OpenShift, TKG; knowledge of Kubernetes is must; Expertise in API and UI automation; developing automation infrastructure using Go-lang and developing automated solution for solving release challenges.Within the first 6-12 months, what are the 2-3 most important performance goals (described as SMART Goals if possible) I would be expected to complete for you to consider me successful in this role?You will be expected to:Working within a distributed team to design, implement and integrate new and enhanced a framework that qualify a SAAS offering with the highest possible quality.Produce high quality, well-documented code. Participate and influence code reviews, design reviews for robust and scalable solution to qualify enterprise product.Work with architects and multiple SaaS services development teams.What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?In addition to what’s implied in the goals above, the below tasks are representative of your day-to-dayUnderstanding how customers use our platform and ensuring all the use cases are integrated in the continuous pipeline.Taking responsibility for the specification, design, implementation, testing and deployment of automated qualification steps.Troubleshoot issues pertaining to the product or automation environment.Communicate technical dependencies and concern/issues effectively.Solve challenging release engineering problems for Tanzu programs. Collaborate with team members, technical leads to identify, resolve problems.Take initiative to improve products, tools and process.Work closely with developers to resolve issues and reproduce issues.What is the leadership like for this role?
