This experience is critical for anyone with a passion for new technology, sales, and operations looking to broaden their business acumen.As the Inside Sales Associate your primary goal is to provide operational excellence in a matrix environment. You will be responsible for streamlining the back-end sales process and tools while coordinating proposals for clients and assisting with account management. This role will provide you with growth potential, leadership opportunities, and workplace flexibility.Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?The primary objective is to master the backend and quoting processes to support your field team in hitting their committed targets. You will be accountable for streamlining the backend process required for selling VMware products (perpetual and SaaS) across VMware’s portfolio of End User Computing solutions, along with packaged services, and educational offerings.You will need to communicate and collaborate effectively with VMware Client Executives and EUC Specialists on how to quote and propose VMware solutions.You will be expected to support the field team in negotiating large deals with deeply complex terms, conditions, pricing pressures and considerations. This will require you to be capable of accurately assessing general contract terms, customer requirements, and product capabilities to ensure VMware is chosen as the preferred vendor.What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?Quoting across the vast VMWare End User Computing portfolio, using the different routes to market, and purchasing option available to the customer.Increase the field team’s capacity to spend more time interacting with Customers and building pipeline by taking the back-end processes off their plate.Coordination within an internal set of multi-functional teams such as Systems Engineers, Product Specialists, Client Executives, Field Marketing, Professional Services, Channel Management, and external partners as described previously.Assist the field team to accurately forecast license sales opportunity, specific product revenue, and PSO bookings on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis via Salesforce.comWhat is the leadership like for this role?
