Chances are that every single one of those interactions, every single one of those experiences, was touched by an Adobe product.We have a fantastic opportunity for an Engineering Manager to join our Creative Cloud team based in Bucharest, Romania.Position SummaryIn this role you build, grow and inspire a group of software development engineers to expand the Creative Cloud business. You will lead your team's efforts in areas like user interface, design, layout, text and rendering to name a few. You will have high visibility and responsibility within Adobe, working on innovative products that reach millions of users.What you'll do:You will expand and directly manage a team of world class engineers while being responsible for driving all aspects of implementation, quality assurance, continuous integration and deployment, and application monitoringYou will be in charge of creating and instilling a team culture that focuses on engineering excellence, but also encourages deep engagement with our customers and out of the box thinkingYou will mentor team members and contribute to the research of excellency in terms of architecture and code designYou will participate in the design and review of features, technology choices, architecture, designs, time and budget estimates, and test strategiesYou will manage project scope and risks with creative problem solvingYou will drive team efficiency and develop engineering processes and collaboration models to optimise team to boost thatYou will work closely with teams and managers at Adobe, across the worldWhat you’ll need to succeed:B.S. / M.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent5+ years as a software engineer working on commercial software3+ years as a software engineering managerOutstanding verbal and written English communicationDemonstrated ability to build a diverse team of top engineers in a competitive job marketStrong working knowledge of modern software development methodologies and software design patternsStrong customer empathy and demonstrated engagement with customers and partners to truly delight usersExperience with Agile software development methodologies such as ScrumVery strong grasp of Computer Science fundamentals, especially OOP, data structures, and design patternsPassion and a love of what you do!As our many awards will tell you, at Adobe you’ll be immersed in an exceptional work environment that is recognized around the world.
