Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. What you’ll do: The Chief Marketing Officer is responsible for building Archer’s marketing strategy, promoting it to the world through innovative and creative approaches to tell the story of the company. This role ensures the organization's message is distributed across channels and to targeted audiences in order to meet sales objectives. Serve as a standing member of the Executive Leadership Team who designs and builds the overall marketing strategy, manages and executes across the entire enterprise, and determines the company's long-term marketing and branding strategy. Ensures the organization's message is distributed across channels and to targeted audiences using creative and innovative ways to deliver messaging Build and support global processes around cyclical business planning, roadmaps, and OKR setting and prioritization Oversee external and internal communications to ensure all investors, shareholders and employees are updated on key company messages and clearly understand Company's vision and values Manage and allocate resources across the entire marketing mix to achieve brand and financial expectations What you need:  15+ years in marketing and advertising with 10+ in leadership roles, including experience operating as a C-level executive, and driving company-wide marketing strategy in partnership with cross-functional teams Track record of being responsible for an annual budget with excellent performance ROI metrics, driving compelling creative campaigns across digital channels Team-player and builder who can execute and thrive in a fast-paced environment and startup culture; strong decision-maker with the ability to reorient teams and drive execution cross-functionally when priorities change or are ambiguous A creative, scrappy problem solver; native in both digital and physical worlds; you're a collaborator with a constant curiosity and a learning mentality who likes to execute on the tactics as much as setting the strategy Passion for start-ups and innovation and a deep understanding of internal and external customers’ needs, their competitive choices and sources of differentiation Intrinsic drive to roll-up your sleeves and get things done; a self-starter, productive working independently or collaboratively At Archer we aim to attract, retain, and motivate talent that possess the skills and leadership necessary to grow our business. We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company’s business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $300,000 - $350,000.
