If you already have a Candidate Account, please Sign-In before you apply.Job Description:Broadcom's Central Engineering Group builds the Foundation IP that powers Broadcom's leading silicon product families.In this position, the successful candidate will be part of the team responsible for the design, development and delivery of standard cell and custom library foundation IP in the latest advanced FinFet process technology nodes.Job ResponsibilitiesDesign standard or custom digital logic and sequential cells or macros at the transistor levelSimulate and analyze circuit designs using industry standard simulation toolsGenerate and verify library EDA modelsRun regression and other quality checks on library deliverablesInterface with design teams to support their requirementsKey RequirementsDigital or mixed-signal circuit design knowledgeUnderstanding of cell layout or physical designUnderstanding of verilog, lef , .lib and other industry standard EDA modelsFamiliarity with EDA tools used for cell design, layout, verification, simulation, timing & power analysisExperience with Virtuoso, Calibre, Spectre , HSpice, SiliconSmart, Liberate, Primetime, Redhawk or similar tools preferredExperience with scripting using Unix, Perl, TCL or Python is requiredQualifications & ExperienceBachelor's in Electrical or Computer Engineering and 8+ years of related experience required Additional QualificationsExpertise in custom circuit characterization and detailed knowledge of liberty format (CCS timing, CCSN, OCV, LVF, Moment based VF)Excellent written and verbal communication skills Collaborate and work within and across teamsAdditional Job Description:Compensation and BenefitsThe annual base salary range for this position is $91,200 - $152,000.This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
