Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, the Senior Manager, Global Payroll Operations will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's payroll and time management operations across multiple countries. The ideal candidate will have experience managing global payroll systems and leading high-performing teams.
The virtual/remote role is available throughout the United States. The salary range for this position is $145,000 to $190,000. Our recruiting team will provide a more specific salary range based on work location and years of experience. In addition to salary, you will receive equity (RSUs) and benefits like healthcare and paid time off.
In this role, you will:
Oversee and manage the company’s global payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll for all employees in multiple countries
Provide leadership and guidance to the payroll team, ensuring that team members have the necessary skills, knowledge, and tools to perform their duties effectively
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with global payroll regulations and standards, and all employment tax obligations
Manage payroll-related special projects, including payroll system implementations, process improvements and integration of new countries and entities
Administration and oversight of the company’s payroll and time management systems
Partner and lead weekly meetings with other functional leads, including People Operations, Total Rewards, and Accounting/Finance
Work closely with external payroll, EOR, PEO vendors ensuring they meet performance and compliance standards, and maintain positive relationships to support ongoing collaboration
Ensure employee inquiries are resolved in a timely manner, and handled with care
Review payroll reports to ensure timely filing with appropriate governmental authorities
We would love to hear from you if:
You have 12+ years of relevant work experience in international payroll
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
You have extensive knowledge of payroll functions including preparation, balancing, internal controls, and payroll taxes
You have excellent leadership and team management skills
You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex payroll issues
You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
You have high attention to detail, with excellent organizational skills
