Job Title:- Performance Test Engineer Job Description   Simpplr is looking for Performance Test Engineer with a drive and eagerness to contribute to the performance, reliability and ensure quality of our product . Roles & Responsibilities Responsible for designing and implementing performance scripts based on the Architecture, business requirements, non-functional requirements, and the code for distributed enterprise level applications. Provides analytical support in the conceptualisation, development, and implementation of performance test suite for platforms written in different programming languages. Analyzes requirements to design and develop performance test suites. Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented. May assist with the evaluation of new and existing product functions. Manages code reviews and ensures that test script code complies with the standard defined for the project. Accountable for service commitments at individual request level for in scope applications and requests. Coordinates technical release activities with applications development and management to ensure successful release outcomes. Responsible for process improvement and monitors the performance of all configuration management activities. Ensure optimally performing production applications by establishing application and transaction SLAs for performance, implementing proactive application monitoring, alarming and reporting, and ensuring adherence to and measurement against defined SLA. Must have Skills:- Advance Knowledge of any Load testing tools like Apache Jmeter(Mandatory), Microfocus LoadRunner/Performance Center/Stromerunner, K6. Advance knowledge of working with multi tier web based/Mobile applications. Working Experience in CI/CD for performance testing. Setting up the performance testing environment. Experience in gathering Non-Functional Requirements (NFR) & strategy to achieve NFR and developing test plans for various types of load tests. Experience in capturing client-side performance using tools like Sitespeed, Lighthouse , performance insights etc.   Good to have: Good to have experience in monitoring using APM tools e.g. New Relic, AppDynamics etc & Metrics analysis using Grafana(Prometheus/Graphite), AWS cloud watch.
