Job Requisition ID #23WD68039Position Overview Autodesk seeks a senior engineer within the Enterprise Data Management (EDM) organization, designated with designing robust and resilient APIs, services, data pipelines. Our platforms and services are part of the Customer data domain: Organizations and Persons. Our systems play a critical role for our order flows, pricing, as well as contributing to reporting, analytics, and prediction. Key stakeholders are Sales, Marketing, Web Properties, and Finance. This role collaborates with Product Managers, Program/Project managers, Architects, Operations, and the Engineering Team to ensure data pipelines and delivery uses modern, scalable, reliable methods. It reports to the Engineering manager in Customer Data, with opportunity for growth. Communication skills are critical, and you must be comfortable distilling complex technical information to a non-technical audience as well as a strong collaborator within your team. Responsibilities Engineering and maintenance of software for new and existing services, systems, platforms, and data pipelines in a cloud environment Supporting principal engineer and team with design, creation, review, and adoption of software and solutions Partnering with stakeholders to understand requirements for software architecture and implementations Testing implementations to guarantee they perform to specifications and requirements Sharing of ideas and mentorship within our team Minimum Qualifications Extensive experience in all facets of software engineering in a cloud environment with a strong focus on dataFirm understanding of programming paradigms, their usage, as well as data structures. (e.g. OOP vs Functional, Time/space complexity, Hashmap vs List) Experience in cross section of the software engineering spectrum (APIs, Front-end, Backend, Data layers, Service layers, etc.) Strong experience in API architecture (REST) and microservices with hands on implementation experienceStrong experience with CI/CD and familiarity TDD/BDD. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $109,400 and $188,760. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
