Job Requisition ID #23WD69865Position OverviewAutodesk is looking for a Software QA Automation Engineer to join our growing Water Integration team in Europe. You will work on cloud services to allow data and hydraulic simulations to be shared across multiple products. These services will be built and run on modern cloud computing technology.As a Software QA Engineer you will be working on designing and developing automated tests and analyzing test results to ensure delivery of high-quality software. You will drive initiatives related to improving the quality, stability, reliability, and usability of high-quality cloud services.Autodesk is a global leader in 3D Design, Engineering, and Entertainment software. By creating software tools for making buildings, machines, and even the latest movies, we get to influence and empower some of the most creative people in the world to solve problems that matter.ResponsibilitiesHelp the team evaluate risk, quality, and stability of deliverables.Be responsible for E2E automation of features developed within the Scrum team.Helping to define the QA strategy and establish release management practise(s) for the scrum team.Be responsible for promoting best QA practices in the scrum team.Work closely with product design and product management to understand requirements and translate them to test plans for functional and regression testing.Drive automation coverage, identify improvement opportunities in the scrum team and establish good tools & practices to achieve the same.Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience2+ Years of experience as a Software Engineer in Test or Software QA EngineerExperience in programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, Python etc.Experience with various tools for performance testing of Rest API’s such as JMeter, etc.Solid hands-on experience with testing backend applicationsExperience working with scalable, high-quality cloud services.Excellent communication and written skillsPreferred Qualifications Scrum and agile development processes and methodologiesExperience with serverless cloud-native applications (preferably AWS)Project & Collaboration Management Systems (JIRA, Confluence Wiki)Exposure to testing cloud infrastructure based on AWS.Have some exposure to CI Tools like Jenkins, etc.Familiar with testing GraphQL APIsUnderstand of automation frameworks like Cypress, Selenium, Puppeteer, etc.Signs you’re a great candidateYou can produce a QA strategy for a serverless cloud application hosted in AWS, that utilises automated testing as part of the CI/CD pipeline.At Autodesk, we're building a diverse workplace and an inclusive culture to give more people the chance to imagine, design, and make a better world.
