If you are ready to accelerate, innovate and lead, join us as we challenge constraints and problem solve for tomorrow today.Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 3 to 6 months you will work toward completing?Within 30 days, you will need to:Complete NH training and have a basic understanding of the deal lifecycle at VMware.Connect with key business partners to understand the current initiatives and projects, especially focusing on system changes and onboarding plans.Have a solid understanding of VMW, CDTO, and DMT’s priorities for FY’23. You will also learn how to navigate through all applications & tools used across the Deal Management Team (Salesforce, Confluence, and CPQ)Within 60 days, you will need to: Identify areas of inefficiencies in a deal lifecycle related to quoting and booking and propose solutions that address inefficiencies.Participate in projects as directed by leadership to positively impact ARR.Have a high-level understanding of VMware products. You will understand the use of contract templates and guidelines to prepare customer documents.Ability to support basic DMT quoting functions.Learn the aspects of user story review and acceptance, as well as end user system testing.The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?Participate in user story review, new capability demonstrations and change management to ensure new capabilities provide a streamlined experience.Engage in user acceptance testing for technical releases to prevent any bugs getting released into our system.Potentially provide relief to Core DMT for basic quoting support for sellersProject focused on ARR, Deal Velocity and/or ease of doing businessWhat is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like?The DMT is comprised of Analysts, Sr. Analysts, Deal Managers, Segment Managers, Directors, Specialist teams, and Operations Specialists. This position will report to a Supervisor, Deal Management Team based out of a diverse team in Bangalore. The Global team is spread throughout VMware offices including Palo Alto, CA, Austin, TX, Heredia, CR, Cork, IE, Bangalore, IN and Sidney, AU.The team culture is one based on building trust and on-going development.
