We are looking for a Revenue Accounting Manager. This role is based out of NVIDIA's Global Finance Resource Center in Bangalore as part of the Finance team.  This position will perform various Revenue Accounting activities & function in a professional and knowledgeable manner.  This position will be required to maintain confidentiality and treat sensitive information with discretion, act as a role model for ethical behavior, and be an advocate of Finance team and company policy. This Revenue Accounting Manager will support global Finance as well as other key stakeholders to achieve Finance goals and objectives. This role requires excellent people communication and writing skills; must be able to work collaboratively across various business units, regions; must be self-motivated and driven to coach and guide other team members. What you’ll be doing:Perform contract review, prepare checklist and apply critical thinking to ensure revenue recognized in compliance with ASC 606Review arrangements with multiple performance obligations (software, hardware, and support), ensure accurate allocation and revenue recognitionPerform month end close activities including review of journal entries, accounts reconciliations, flux analysis and revenue disclosuresReview deferred revenue balances and revenue validations on a weekly basis and take initiative in rectifying if any exceptionsReview partner royalty revenue reconciliation on a monthly/quarterly basis,Partner with Sales Operations, FP&A and Sales teams to review and address various inquiries/issues related to revenue recognitionPrepare standalone selling price analysis on a periodic basisPrepare returns reserve calculation and analysis, maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practiceClosely work with IT in resolving system related revenue recognition issues, including testing proposed solutions , validating the expected outcomes and continuously improve the automation and system efficienciesResponsible for training, performance management, and career development of direct reportsWhat we need to see:Graduate Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent experience.Chartered Accountant or equivalent accounting certification strongly preferred7+ years of experience in revenue accounting. Experience working with United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, in particular ASC 606 with a strong understanding of multiple element arrangement and software accounting2+ years of experience in leading and managing team.Experience with SAP RAR and Zuora/ Rev pro preferredExcellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel/PowerPoint/Word/Outlook) requiredWays to stand out from the crowd:You are dedicated, fast to act, and self-motivated with excellent analytical skills.
