Senior Security Engineer

Come work with us and help maintain a fun and ethical center for Workiva.What You’ll DoPerform security assessments and vulnerability testing to identify potential threats and risksDevelop and implement continuous security improvement methods to maintain a strong and ethical center for WorkivaWork with the team to remediate and resolve any findings from vulnerability scans using toolsWrite custom scripts to automate workflow and reduce manual processesCollaborate with other teams to ensure security standards are met across the organizationStay current with emerging security trends and technologies to continuously improve security postureAct as a representative of InfoSec and make building relationships a priorityWhat You’ll Need4+ years of related information security experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 2 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experienceStrong proficiency in scripting languagesExperience with vulnerability scan toolsCloud computing experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft AzureUnderstanding of cloud terminology such as RDS, ELB, VPC, HSMStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentNice-To-HavesExperience with pen testing tools and techniquesFamiliarity with industry solutions such as firewalls, endpoint detection and response (EDR). SEIM, ticket management and tracking, secure DNS, content categorization and blocking, software development and version control, cybersecurity posture improvement and scored analysis of cyber threat intelligence signals for third party and IT risk managementKnowledge of phish testing and security awareness best practicesHow You’ll Be Rewarded:Salary range in the US: $118,000.00 - $155,000.00A discretionary bonus typically paid annuallyRestricted Stock Units granted at time of hire401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits packageThe salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US.
