Access to data, reports and services is controlled by Workday's configurable security and privacy model, which flexibly enables different data access levels for different data consumers within the system. We are building a new unified identity & unified authorization services for customer identity & authorization needs.Collaborate with other teams to brainstorm optimal solutions and alternativesThink creatively and consider issues from a customer perspective, while bringing a pragmatic approach to solving issuesAs a part of an agile development team, work with fellow engineers of various disciplines, product managers and test automation engineers to deliver privacy platform enhancements to support Workday application developmentAbout YouBasic Qualifications:Transitioning US military Veteran or eligible member of the National Guard or Reserves.Cannot have been out of the military for longer than three years (exception is for those currently enrolled in a full-time educational program)Experience with Object oriented Design and programming experience, preferred in an enterprise software productExperience and familiarity in Java, RESTful APIs, SOAP Good grasp of design and architecture patterns, coding best practices and be able to write unit-testable codeOther Qualifications:An understanding of one or more business domains relevant to Workday systems (for example, HR, benefits, payroll, or financials) is desirable.Knowledge of agile development processes is a plus.Motivated individuals who don't stop striving to be their best.Experience of Java development.As a federal contractor, Workday is requiring all new hires to verify that they are fully-vaccinated against COVID-19 within 72 hours of beginning employment with Workday, consistent with applicable law. Workday is an equal opportunity employer.
