We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated individual to assist in the coordination and implementation of the PR strategy for the company’s portfolio of festivals and events.We are looking for an organised, enthusiastic and focused individual to join our PR/Comms team in London as a Public Relations Coordinator. Based in the London office, you will report to the PR Manager working primarily on festival campaigns including Reading & Leeds, Wireless, Latitude, Wilderness Festivals and more whilst working closely with the Marketing, Digital and Sponsorship teams.You must have a good knowledge of the music and events industry. A genuine passion for live music is a must as you will be required to work onsite at festivals and events during the summer which include some evenings and some weekends.Who you areCompetencies / Skills / Knowledge / ExperiencePrior professional public relations experience (job/internship)A demonstrable passion and understanding for different types of mediaExcellent administrative and organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at one timeCopywriting and proof-reading abilities and great verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge and enthusiasm for UK and European festival markets and eventsBehavioursThe following attributes determine how the role will be carried out and are required to be a successInterest in innovation in the PR landscape and basic understanding of social mediaAbility to stay calm under pressure and respond to changing prioritiesAbility to interact professionally and portray good judgmentProactive mindset, including the ability to work independently and autonomouslyDemonstrate a positive, can-do, go-the-extra-mile attitude.
